OSSSC Vacancy Details 2018

Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), Bhubaneswar has announced a notification for the recruitment of 238 vacancies on contractual basis in different Circles of Jails under Home Department of Government of Odisha. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27-12-2017 to 01-02-2018.

  3. Koraput Circle: 135 Posts
  4. Sambalpur Circle: 26 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years as on 31-01-2017. Upper age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women category as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed in the 10+2 Exam conducted by CHSE, Odisha or ICSE or CBSE or any other equivalent examination.

 Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Standard Test, Efficiency test & Written Test.

Examination Fee: Applicants required to pay of Rs. 100/- for all applicants other than SC, ST categories through the following modes of payment.

E-Payment: Candidates can pay through the website www.osssc.gov.in through the link available in the OSSSC portal.

Online Mode: Candidates can pay through online mode by using Net Banking or Debit Card. On successful payment, an Challan will be generated from the Treasury portal.

Offline Mode: Candidates can pay through offline mode through Challan drawn under the “Head of Account 0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.

Conventional Mode: Candidates can pay through the Conventional mode into the Treasury challan under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/ SSC- Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.osssc.gov.in from 27-12-2017 to 01-02-2018.

2. Choose the advertisement related to this Vaccancy & Read the Notification.
3.  Login with your id or Complete the Registration if candidate would be new user.
4. Fill-up the required fields in the Application Form.
5. Check once before submission of application form.
6. Take print copy of your application form for future use.
